Dick’s Lumber acquires Zy Tech Building Systems

Dick’s Lumber, a banner of Canadian home improvement retail group Rona, has completed the acquisition of Zy Tech Building Systems, a leader in the manufacturing and distribution of building components and engineered wood products. This is the first strategic acquisition for Dick’s Lumber under the ownership of private equity firm Sycamore Partners. This transaction will allow Dick’s Lumber to expand its design and manufacturing footprint to better serve developers and builders in Western Canada, according to a press release published by Rona.
