Euro-Cis, the leading trade fair for retail technology, which is due to be held in Düsseldorf over the three days from 28 February to 1 March 2012, will be able to notch up a new record. Currently a total of 175 exhibitors from 22 nations have registered on a space of 6 017 m². This means that the fair will be the biggest in its history (2010: 5 468 m²). The organising company, Messe Düsseldorf, is expecting some 200 exhibitors by the start of the fair in February. The organisers believe that one reason for its success is the consistent gearing of the trade fair’s offer to the developments and requirements of the retail scene. For instance, visitors will find “multi-channel” offered as a new focal point in 2012. There will also be four presentations as part of the supplementary programme: “Customer communication and customer loyalty in multi-channel trading” (global solutions), “PLM: Best Practice for Retail” (PTC), “PLM – Fast is no longer fast enough” (Lectra) and “Legal counterfeit protection with micro colour-codes” (secutag). The fair will be open to trade visitors every day from 10 am to 6 pm. Download:
