Faster growth at centrally-run branches

The overall network of Mr. Bricolage stores records sales growth of 6.7 per cent

In the first six months of 2002 the stores belonging to the French cooperative group Mr. Bricolage achieved gross sales of € 584.1 mio. This corresponds to growth of 6.7 per cent across the board and 4.8 per cent like-for-like over the first six months of 2001. Also included in the figures are the 32 centrally managed outlets (after two additions and two departures), which increased their sales by a disproportionate 8.4 per cent to € 51.8 mio. Two more centrally managed outlets have been added since the cut-off date on 30 June. Centralised activities showed growth of 19.8 per cent to € 60.9 mio in sales volume.
