A new generation

The new systems-based development reveals technical improvements and a longer value-added chain compared with the current Anuba standard. Hitherto the importance of a door hinge scarcely went beyond its functionality. It was rarely included in the design of the object as a whole. The reason for this was that the hinge was pre-installed during manufacture of the door.
SFS-incanto changes all this. Since the hinge is no longer pre-installed it can for the first time be used as a creative element in combination with the door handle. A special finishing technique allows the hinge to be designed individually and adapted to different tastes, as well as coordinated with the appearance of the handle. It is also possible to offer hinge and handle as a set.

From company headquarters in Heerbrugg comes the information that the new hinge system offers all partners in the marketplace generally, from the door manufacturer to the end consumer, an unusually high potential for adding on value. One advantage of this overall system is that problems of compatibility between the frame rebate, door hinge or door rebate do not apply. What is more, a door equipped with the system can be adjusted after hanging and time is gained through more efficient installation. SFS-incanto has been tested in accordance with the provisional EN1935 standard for rebated doors up to 60 kg. This means that it is no longer necessary to differentiate between external and internal doors, or between various weight classifications.
