Increased number of outlets abroad

The plans of Austrian DIY chain Baumax to increase its number of outlets by six new stores are to be realized solely through expansion outside Austria. Of the six new openings scheduled before the end of the year, two are in the Czech Republic, two in Croatia and one each in Slovakia and Hungary. Baumax is also intending to expand into Serbia in the next two years.
