Support for the AHMA Show

13.10.2003

The organisation is relying on big names from both industry and commerce to enlist support for its own trade fair that will be in competition with the Reed event

The American Hardware Manufacturers Association (AHMA) has published a list of the major companies which have decided in favour of the AHMA Hardware Show that it is in the process of organising. The fair will be held in Chicago from 18 to 20 April 2004 – in direct competition with the National Hardware Show, which will be staged by Reed Exhibitions less than one month later, from 10 to 12 May 2004. This event has been transferred to Las Vegas.

The AHMA Hardware Show features three separate industry Events:
The World of Hardware & Tools
The World of Lawn, Garden & Outdoor Living
The World of Home Decorating
The World of Lawn, Garden and Outdoor Living will be the largest event in the AHMA Hardware Show, located in its own building solely dedicated to lawn, garden and outdoor living. This April, the Chicago Event is expanding to include green goods and will embrace more garden centers, landscapers and nurseries than ever before. Dedicated feature areas include the Garden Center of the Future, an actual working greenhouse supported by NEXUS; and Green Goods Pavilion, a show-in-a-show area of live goods supported by Proven Winners.
The World of Home Decorating will feature the Home Decorating Showcase to display the latest product innovations and feature an expansive demonstration area related to home decorating. Attendees will have a chance to try out the latest tools in the special demonstration area in The World of Hardware & Tools.
A dedicated Educational Program will present a series of market-focused presentations and seminars specific to each World Event.
