Spanish tile manufacturers are growing

Spanish tile manufacturers produced around 7000 million sq ft of tiles during 2002 and thereby increased production by 2%. Sales increased even more by 3.6% to €3.6bn compared with 2001. Export markets represent over 55.6% of this figure. More than one in four square feet of tiles (28%) sold worldwide originates from Spain. Spanish manufacturers have a market share of 43% on the total European production.
