Changes to board of directors

Home Depot has announced two changes to the board of directors for the coming year. William S. Davila is no longer eligible for re-election, since at his present age of 72, the president emeritus of the Vons Companies has reached the company’s mandatory retirement age. Richard A. Grasso, former chairman of the New York Stock Exchange, has confirmed his decision not to stand for election again in May 2004.
