Migros grows market share

Space productivity has gone up by almost one per cent in the specialist store category

In the year 2003 the Swiss Migros Group increased the volume of sales of its ten regional cooperatives by 1.8 per cent to CHF 14.440 bn (€ 9.228 bn). According to information provided by the company, space productivity in the specialist stores rose by 0.9 per cent to CHF 5.605 (€ 3.582) per square metre. The market share of all the group’s marketing formats was up by 0.4 per cent.
