Joseph J. DeAngelo to be vice president of the DIY market leader

Joseph J. DeAngelo, president Tools Group at Stanley, the US tools supplier, is changing over to Home Depot at the beginning of April. There he will hold the position of vice president for the Pro Business and Tool Rental division. DeAngelo had moved to Stanley only in March 2003. Previous to that he worked for 17 years for General Electric, the former employer of Home Depot chief Bob Nardelli. His replacement at Stanley will be Donald McIlnay, 53, who has been with the company since 1999 and is currently president of Stanley Door Systems.
