The German manufacturer Wolf-Garten is divesting its power tools and will focus on hand tools, fertilisers and seeds in future. In future, the power tool range will be sold in the classic yellow colour of the Stanley brand. This was announced by Stanley Black & Decker at a press event in Saarbrücken (Germany), where Wolf-Garten is based.

The Wolf-Garten brand belongs to Stanley Black & Decker Outdoor GmbH (formerly MTD Products AG). This was integrated into Stanley Black & Decker Deutschland GmbH on 6 May 2024. In August 2021, Stanley Black & Decker acquired 100 per cent of the former MTD.

According to Jürgen Titz, General Manager GALP, the aim was to penetrate the DIY market more strongly with Stanley and has reorganised itself and expanded its product portfolio to this end. The brand now wants to target German DIY enthusiasts and tradespeople with its V20 battery…
