The US company Stanley Black & Decker achieved a total global turnover of USD 15.8 bn (EUR 14.21 bn) in 2023. The sales figures for the past year were announced yesterday by Jürgen Titz, General Manager for the DACH region at the manufacturer of tools and operating equipment. This represents a decline of just under 6.5 per cent compared to 2022, with turnover of USD 16.9 bn (EUR 15.2 bn), which was mainly due to strategic acquisitions in the outdoor sector, as the Group reported at the time.
The Industry segment accounted for USD 2.4 bn (EUR 2.16 bn) in the past year, while the Tools and Garden segment generated USD 13.4 bn (EUR 12.05 bn). Of this, USD 7.0 bn (EUR 6.29 bn) were earned with hand tools, accessories and storage solutions, USD 6.4 bn (EUR 5.76 bn) with power tools and USD 3.0 bn (EUR2.7 bn) with gardening products.
