Announcement of European market launch

Weber-Stephen, the Chicago-based US supplier of barbecues, has acquired the American manufacturer Ducane Gas Grills together with rights to the trademark. Weber has announced its intention to launch the Ducane brand in Europe in 2006. The production location in South Carolina will not be affected by the change of ownership.
