Award-winning suppliers

Early June saw Baumax invite a good 500 suppliers from all over Europe to Vienna to celebrate "Growth in tandem". The presentation of awards to the Baumax suppliers of the year 2007 took place within the framework of this event. There were four prize-winners: an award went to the Classen Group (Germany) in the building products category, to Roltechnik (Czechia) in the tools category, to Philips Austria in the lifestyle category and to Floragard (Germany) in the garden category. Aspects evaluated covered logistics, delivery times and capacity (in Austria and all European countries with a Baumax presence), rate of turnover for the listed range, the level of human contact on which Baumax and its business partners operate, and last but not least, the prospects for making a profit.
