Leroy Merlin, a French DIY retail chain, has opened in Alicante its first separate garden centre in Spain according to the Spanish online news service Ferrepress. The outlet, which is located in the vicinity of the DIY store there, carries a stock of more than 4 000 items on an area of 2 000 m², and 2 000 more are available to order. The product offer is structured in three sections, decoration, garden layout and garden maintenance. The space allocated to plants has been trebled compared to the previous Leroy Merlin offer.
