Jeroen Lauwers is now in charge of the purchasing organisation as Jan Van de Mierop’s successor

The new president of Bricoalliance, an international purchasing organisation, is Jeroen Lauwers. He succeeds Jan Van de Mierop, who had held the position since the group was established in 2006. Bricoalliance, which is headquartered in Wommelgem, Belgium, is a cooperative of seven DIY retailers: Bricogroup and Bricoking in Spain, Izi in Portugal and Spain, Hubo in Belgium, Puntolegno in Italy, Nomi in Poland and Multimate in the Netherlands. Together they have 370 stores and combined sales of around € 1.0576 bn. Jeroen Lauwers has worked in the DIY industry for ten years. He is moving from Scala Plastics, where he was managing director from 2006. Previous to that he worked in the same position at Eglo Leuchten, Belgium.
