Sylvain Girard is Rona’s new CFO

Canadian home improvement cooperative Rona is announcing the appointment of Sylvain Girard as Chief Financial Officer as of 30 September 2024. Girard has over 30 years of experience in financial services management for major corporations, both nationally and internationally. He spent some twenty years with General Electric Company before joining Atkins-Réalis (formerly SNC-Lavalin), where he held various positions, including Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, Sylvain held the position of Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer at Resolute Forest Products.
