Quester continues to expand

Quester has opened two new stores in Graz and Vienna, bringing the total number of stores it operates in Austria to 23. The Austrian builders’ merchant has been trading for 78 years and achieved sales of around € 250 mio in 2011. It employs nearly 600 staff. In January 2012, Quester became a shareholder in Hagebau Soltau. Quester has been part of the Dublin-based international building materials company CRH Group since 2005. The latter is listed on the stock exchange and is one of the global market leaders in the building materials segment, with 3 600 locations in 36 countries.
