Robert Dutton has resigned from his position as boss of Rona. He had headed the Canadian DIY and home improvement group for 20 years as president and CEO, having joined the company as far back as 1977. Under his leadership the company, which had previously operated only in Quebec, developed into the sector’s market leader across the whole of Canada. Dominique Boies, executive vice president and CFO, will function as CEO for the interim. An international agency has been tasked with searching for a successor to Dutton.
