The Board of Edra has announced that Praktiker Bulgaria, a home improvement retail chain, and Attard Bros., one of Malta's largest construction companies, will become members of Edra with immediate effect.
Praktiker Bulgaria operates nine stores across the country. The managing partners of Praktiker Bulgaria, Todor Belchev and Bojidar Kolev of Viseolux Holdings, also own the 31 store Technopolis, Bulgaria's leading consumer electronics company.
Attard Bros. have opened their very first building materials and DIY superstore Big Mat in Attard, Malta with a sales area of 3,000 m². The company was established in 1977 and has grown into one of Malta's largest construction operations. Michael Attard is the chairman and founder of Attard Bros., the managing director is Carl Attard and Noel Attard is the director responsible for Big Mat store in Malta.
