Taiwan Hardware Show increases the number of visitors and exhibitors

The Taiwan Hardware Show once again increased the number of exhibitors and visitors in 2016. The three day show, which took place in the middle of October in Taichung, the centre of the Taiwanese hardware industry, was attended by 29 903 visitors from 68 countries. That was eleven per cent more than in the previous year. The number of purchasers who came from overseas was 4 109 (i.e. around 13 per cent of the visitors). According to the visitor country rankings, the majority of the visitors from abroad came from Japan, followed by Korea, the USA, Australia, Germany, France, Italy, Indonesia and Singapore.
The exhibition floor space increased by 16 per cent compared to the previous year. The total number of exhibitors increased by five per cent to 403, the number of international exhibitors rose by 33 per cent.
