Following a store opening in the Dutch capital Amsterdam, the German DIY store operator Hornbach has now opened a store in The Hague, seat of the parliament and government of the Netherlands. It is the chain's 13th store in the Netherlands and its 156th store overall. The company has invested around € 35 mio in the new store. Offering over 120 000 items for sale, the new outlet covers a retail area of roughly 15 000 m² and also features a drive-in facility. Plans are already in hand to open the company's 14th store in the country in Zwolle.
