The Chinese tool manufacturer Globe Tools wants to gain a better foothold on the European market. The company specialises in cordless, DIY and garden tools and, it states itself, is market leader in the USA. It also distributes its products under the brands Greenworks und Powerworks in Canada, Europe, China and Russia.
The Globe Tools Group produces 1.2 mio units per month on a current production area of more than 200 000 m² with more than 4 000 employees in North America, Europe and China, and has annual sales of more than € 400 mio. Globe Tools produces 96 per cent of the product components at its own plants.
Its headquarters are located in Charlotte in the USA, North Carolina, the European headquarters, Globe Tools Europe AB, is currently being built in Malmö in Sweden.
