Hagebaumarkt chain grows in Germany by nearly two per cent

The Hagebaumarkt franchise chain in Germany increased its net external sales last year by 1.9 per cent to EUR 1.998 bn. At the end of the year, the chain had 342 stores in Germany, one more than a year ago. The number of Hagebaumarkt outlets in Austria remained the same at 46, but overall sales here totalled EUR 245.4 mio, roughly 2.2 per cent down on the previous year. Sales by the Hagebaumarkt stores in both countries increased by 1.4 per cent to EUR 2.243 bn.
