Bunnings increases sales by 5.3 per cent

Bunnings increased its sales between July and December 2019, the first six months of its fiscal 2019/2020, by 5.3 per cent in Australia and New Zealand to AUD 7.276 bn (EUR 4.469 bn). Total store sales increased by 5.8 per cent, with store-on-store sales increasing by 4.7 per cent.
The click and collect offer of Bunnings stores is now available across Australia, while over 100 stores now offer a click and deliver service.
During the six months, Bunnings opened eight new trading locations, including one replacement. Three small format stores in New Zealand were closed. At the end of the year, Bunnings operated 273 warehouses, 74 smaller format stores and 31 trade centres. A further 13 stores were under construction.
