Danish Plantorama garden centres grow by 4 per cent

The Danish garden centre chain Plantorama grew its sales by 3.9 per cent to DKK 462.622 mio (EUR 62.096 mio) in 2019. Profit after tax increased by 12.5 per cent to DKK 24.411 mio (EUR 3.277 mio).
Following the opening of the twelfth store in Tilst, CEO Peter Van Christensen unveiled a new expansion project. The family firm, now run by the sixth generation, will construct its next garden centre, with a retail area of 8 600 m², in Hørsholm.
