On its home market of Chile, the group made USD 1.006 bn in the DIY business and thus 32.8 per cent more sales than in the same quarter of last year. The quarterly report breaks down the figures for the remaining countries as follows:
Colombia USD 338 mio, plus 23.5 per cent, plus 29.2 per cent in local currency
Peru USD 247 mio, plus 3.8 per cent
Brazil USD 83 mio, plus 12.8 per cent, plus 11.3 per cent in local currency
Argentina USD 40 mio, plus 76.6 per cent, plus 63.9 per cent in local currency
The online sales of the overall home improvement division rose by 51 per cent to USD 239 mio compared to the same quarter of last year.
