With the International Hardware Fair Italy, the German organiser Koelnmesse is bringing the event concept of its Hardware Fair to Italy. In odd-numbered years, the fair will provide a home in Italy for the European market of the hardware industry, the building sector and the DIY, outdoor and garden design, security technology, paint and electrical and industrial supplies sectors.
"Our decision to launch International Hardware Fair Italy is in line with our strategy to strengthen our global portfolio while responding to the growing demand in the Italian market," says Gerald Böse, CEO of Koelnmesse. The premiere will be on 5 and 6 May 2023 at the Fiera di Bergamo.
The Italian event will adopt the concept of the Cologne fair in terms of content, format, philosophy, orientation and quality standards, the organiser assures. With the Bergamo location, the fair will be easily accessible from all over Europe due to its strategically favourable position in northern Italy and the excellent transport connections.
The fair is aimed at buyers and decision-makers from the traditional hardware and tools trade, the major retail chains and DIY brands, as well as the paint and building materials trade. Manufacturers and importers, e-commerce platforms, garden centres and other industrial companies and service providers will also be taking part. The offer is rounded off by an event programme with conferences, demo areas and training workshops.
