Byggmax grows by 14.4 per cent overall, 1.6 per cent in Sweden

In the first quarter of the current year, the Swedish DIY group Byggmax turned over SEK 1.271 bn (EUR 124 mio), 14.4 per cent more than in the same period last year. Acquisitions accounted for 9.4 percentage points of this growth and currency effects for 1.7 per cent. In its home market of Sweden, Byggmax grew by 1.6 per cent to SEK 875 mio (EUR 85 mio), and in the other Nordic countries by 54.9 per cent to SEK 410 mio (EUR 40 mio).
