The German DIY chain Bauhaus is believed to have achieved sales of around EUR 490 mio in Austria in 2021, equivalent to an increase of around 15.8 per cent compared with the previous year (EUR 423.15 mio). This has been reported by several Austrian newspapers with reference to press information from the company. This was in relation to the groundbreaking at the end of May for a new Austrian headquarters. The company is investing around EUR 10 mio in the new building in the city of Wels, where it has been headquartered hitherto in Austria.
