The 35th edition of the Belgian trade fair DIY, Pro & Garden will take place again this year after a three-year break. After several postponements, the date announced now applies: 5 and 6 September 2022 in Kortrijk, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day. Around 140 exhibitors are expected.
The organisers have announced that the focus will be on sustainability. Therefore, there will be a "Green Room" in Kortrijk, a platform that provides an overview of sustainable innovations, processes and business models. The exhibitors represented there will also be recognisable by a conspicuous Green Deal label on the floor.
On 5 September, DIY, Pro & Garden overlaps with the pet trade fair Anido, which takes place in two adjacent halls. Trade visitors will have access to both events.
The supporting programme includes two lectures. On 5 September, Hans Verboven, Professor of Sustainability Management at the University of Antwerp and CEO of the consultancy Sustacon, will talk about sustainability and energy renovation as a business model for the DIY, professional and garden sector. Former Home Depot manager Jim Inglis joins the livestream on 6 September to talk about ten principles for efficient retailing and the success story of Home Depot.
