Under the slogan "Solutions for a sustainable future", 2,000 exhibitors will be presenting new and proven products and services at ISH from 17 to 21 March 2025. "The industry sees itself as a solution provider," explained Johannes Möller, Vice President Building Technologies Shows at Messe Frankfurt, during a preview of this year's edition of the trade fair for water, heat and air. The organisers have therefore identified eight solution areas into which the ISH will be divided in future: Sanitary rooms, water-bearing systems, installation, heat generation, indoor air, intelligent building control, software and the manufacture of HVAC products. Each solution area will have its own content stage.

Jens Wischmann, Managing Director of the German Sanitary Industry Association

The topic of sustainability runs through almost all areas. "More than 40 per cent of energy in the EU is consumed in the building sector," emphasised Möller. This makes this sector a major lever on the road to climate neutrality. This is also the theme of the "Pop up my Bathroom" exhibition, which presents bathroom trends. The associations will also be presenting their latest bathroom study at the trade fair.

"However, the ISH not only shows beautiful bathrooms, but also how much technical expertise is behind them," added the association's managing director, citing as examples the heat recovery of hot shower water or fittings that limit the flow of water while offering a high level of comfort. The topic of water management has gained attention in recent years with problems caused by water shortages on the one hand and flooding on the other. "Careful use of this resource is a must," emphasised Wischmann. For this reason, the "Value of Water Conference" is being held for the first time as part of the ISH. Here, experts, political decision-makers and organisations will discuss global innovations and best practices in the field of water management and…
