163,157 visitors from 150 countries took part in this year's ISH. For five days, the Frankfurt exhibition centre was the meeting place for the international sanitation, heating and air-conditioning sector under the motto ‘Solutions for a sustainable future’. The visitors included decision-makers from industry and trade, the construction and housing sectors as well as planners, engineers and architects. A particularly high proportion, around 30 per cent, came from the skilled trades. In addition to Germany, most visitors came from China, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, France, the UK, Belgium, Poland, Austria and Turkey.
With 2,183 exhibitors from 54 countries, ISH occupied the entire Frankfurt exhibition centre and offered an overview of the latest developments in heating, cooling, air-conditioning and ventilation technology, intelligent building automation and sustainable bathroom design and installation technology.
New concept
In order to present the multitude of innovations in a clear and concise manner, ISH 2025 has for the first time adopted a new concept with eight solution areas: sanitary rooms, water-bearing systems, installation, heat generation, indoor air, intelligent building control, software and the manufacture of HVAC products. This structure was designed to provide trade visitors with targeted orientation and facilitate direct dialogue with the right companies in the sector.
High visitor satisfaction
‘The atmosphere at ISH 2025 was great - the exhibition grounds were full and the discussions were intensive,‘ reports Wolfgang Marzin, President and CEO of Messe Frankfurt. 94 per cent of visitors were satisfied to very satisfied with their visit to the trade fair. 96 per cent rated the exhibitors’ offerings positively.
The next ISH will take place from 15 to 19 March 2027.
