‘The bathroom has long ceased to be a wet room,’ explained design expert Frank A. Reinhardt during his trend presentation at the Design Plaza at the start of today's ISH in Frankfurt am Main. Instead, it is becoming increasingly cosy: with sofas, fabrics, wallpaper, wooden floors and even books, the bathroom is becoming more and more like a living room. People are the benchmark here, emphasised Reinhardt, for example with washbasins that lean towards the user or double washbasins, which are currently becoming increasingly popular.
