Half-year sales in Austria 1.4 per cent below previous year's level

Austrian DIY stores ended the first half of 2023 with a decline in turnover. After a modest increase in the first quarter, the second quarter saw a downward trend of -2.5 per cent. In the first six months of 2023 as a whole, the industry turned over EUR 1.58 bn, 1.4 per cent less than in the same period last year. These figures were published by the German industry association BHB.
