Screwfix now has 20 stores in France

The British trade-oriented retail chain Screwfix has opened three more branches in France and now operates 20 shops there. Two new openings have taken place in the Les Hauts-de-France region and one in Normandy.

Screwfix offers a range of 15 000 SKUs, 10 000 of which are available at the counter in less than five minutes via Click & Collect, says the company. Around 9 000 SKUs from a range called Sprint are reportedly delivered within 60 minutes. The sales line, which is part of the Kingfisher Group, is primarily aimed at trade professionals, but also at experienced DIY enthusiasts. The new stores have sales areas of between 500 and 750 square metres.
