Ace Indonesia, the country’s biggest home improvement retailer, enjoyed a 12.55 per cent increase in sales in 2023 as it saw a robust growth in uptake for all of its three categories. In its financial report, the company stated that net sales for the year hit 7.611 trillion Indonesian rupiah (IDR, EUR 442.174 mio).
Its home improvement category, which saw an 11.28 per cent increase to IDR 4.009 trillion, contributed over half, or 52.67 per cent, of the total take. Lifestyle products rose 14.58 per cent to IDR 3.148 trillion to account for 41.4 per cent of overall sales, while toys, which posted a 16.15 per cent rise to IDR 304.45 billion, made up around four per cent.
The company, which is part of the Kawan Lama Group, said it closed the year with 233 outlets.
