The German discounter Lidl has opened a store in Hungary focused entirely on products from its own DIY brand Parkside. In a promotional video published by Lidl Hungary on the Tiktok platform, a young man in a Lidl T-shirt walks through the aisles of the new shop, marvelling at the assortment, which ranges from drills and screwdrivers to gardening tools and equipment, and placing one item after another in his shopping trolley. The outlet advertises 'huge discounts' and a '100 per cent Parkside experience'. It is located in the Premier Outlet in the Hungarian town of Biatorbágy near Budapest.
