Fischer site honored as “Factory of the Year”

In the 33rd “Factory of the Year” production benchmark competition, the Fischer Group's production site in Ivanovice na Hané in the Czech Republic won in the “GEO Award” (Global Excellence in Operations) category. On the 30th anniversary of the site, the award recognizes its operational excellence along the entire value chain, according to the fastening technology manufacturer.

Every year, the management consultancy Kearney, in cooperation with the trade journal “Produktion” and Süddeutscher Verlag Veranstaltungen GmbH, honors factories in six categories that master current production challenges in an exemplary manner.

“The site has performed extremely well in recent years,” emphasizes Maximilian Bronner, Managing Director of Production and Technology at Fischer, adding: “The keys to this success are our process system, which has been implemented in an exemplary manner in Ivanovice na Hané, and the outstanding team performance of the Czech team.”

The “Factory of the Year” congress will take place in Ludwigsburg on March 18 and 19, 2025. The awards will be officially presented to the winners at a gala evening.
