This year, Spoga+Gafa will be taking place in the Cologne exhibition halls for the first time with its new sequence of days from Tuesday to Thursday, 24 to 26 June 2025. Four months before the start, the garden and BBQ trade fair has already registered 90 per cent of the previous year's space, as the organiser Koelnmesse announced in a press release. ‘The industry is showing a strong commitment. The very good booking situation underlines the importance of Spoga+Gafa as a driving force and leading international platform for the green industry,’ says Claudia Maurer, Director of Spoga+Gafa. ’We are pleased that so many companies will be back in 2025 and that we will be able to showcase the full range of garden lifestyles.’
The old and the new come together
While the existing hall layout will remain in place, the 2025 trade fair aims to set new accents with new and further developed special areas. The new Start-up Square will give young companies the opportunity to present their products. Members of the German Garden Industry Association (Industrieverband Garten - IVG) can now present their products on the new ‘IVG Garden Boulevard’. The organisers also highlight the ‘Cooling World’ with mobile cooling products, the ‘Outdoor Kitchen World’ with the trends in outdoor kitchens and the special area ‘BBQ for every wallet’ with a compact overview of barbecues in all price segments as further highlights.
The supporting programme is also designed to provide inspiration: specialist lectures and discussion rounds will be offered on three thematically placed stages, while the special show ‘Boulevard of Trends & Ideas’ combines trends and developments from garden lifestyle and BBQ. The ‘POS Green Solution Islands’ will also be implemented this year together with Oliver Mathys and will show sales-promoting design ideas for all seasons. The organisers are confident that this year's main theme, ‘Design Gardens’, will be visible and tangible for visitors in many places at the fair.
Early opening of the ticket shop
Tickets for Spoga+Gafa 2025 can already be purchased at the official ticket shop. The early opening is intended to enable international guests in particular to plan their travel further in advance, the organisers write.
