Just in time for the spring season, Home Depot and Lowe’s are introducing their individual AI tools for customers. Both share a similar purpose: assisting customers by providing them with instructions, suggestions and product recommendations. In short, they are supposed to help customers with their home improvement needs and struggles.

Mylow

Lowe's is introducing Mylow, which the company describes as an "AI-powered home improvement virtual advisor”. Developed in collaboration with OpenAI, Mylow is designed to provide customers (and associates) with clear steps and solutions for projects ranging in type and complexity. According to Lowe’s,  Mylow delivers quick, "conversational" answers to home improvement questions, designed to help customers navigate DIY difficulties by providing how-to advice, product searches and more.
