The French DIY store group Mr. Bricolage ended 2024 with a significant drop in sales. Only the international business saw a slight positive development. Total sales fell by 5.7 per cent to EUR 2.1685 bn compared to 2023, and by 3.5 per cent on a like-for-like basis. In France, the minus was 7.0 per cent, and on a like-for-like basis it was -4.4 per cent. The 994 stores – of which 338 operate under the Mr. Bricolage brand, 99 under the Les Briconautes brand and 557 with their own market presence – generated a turnover of 1.8257 billion euros. The 77 Mr. Bricolage outlets abroad – 44 in Belgium, 13 in Bulgaria, two in Gabon, nine in Morocco, three in Mauritius and one each in Cyprus, the Ivory Coast, Kosovo, Macedonia and Madagascar – increased their sales by 1.5 per cent to EUR 342.9 mio; on a like-for-like basis, they increased by 0.4 per cent.
