Byggmax starts the year with growth of 7.2 per cent

The Swedish DIY chain Byggmax increased its sales by 7.2 per cent year-on-year to SEK 929 million (EUR 83.3 m) in the first quarter of 2025. Like-for-like sales increased by 7.6 per cent. The company states that e-commerce accounted for 19 per cent of sales over the past twelve months. Byggmax currently operates 144 stores in Sweden, 58 in Norway, eleven in Finland and five in Denmark, totalling 211 stores and seven showrooms. The next opening has been announced for June 2025 in the Swedish capital Stockholm.
