The company, which is based at Rijnsburg, has been accumulating experience in the production and marketing of dried flowers for more than 30 years. About three years ago management decided on its reaction to the changed consumer trend: the demand was no longer just for dried flowers, but ready-made decorative arrangements as well. Managing director Richard Verëll sees further good opportunities for development in this segment: “Ready-made decorative products are becoming increasingly important to us. Consequently, every year now we offer a new collection for spring and summer, plus one for autumn and winter, to pick up on the latest trends in colour and design.” Overall the company offers a range that consists of more than 800 products and is presented in different catalogues (Basics, Winter Season and Summer Season). It is also possible to put together individually designed programmes such as bouquets, arrangements and displays. A total of 90 per cent of production goes overseas. The broad selection of dried flowers and decorations, with complementary gift articles, is sold in 45 different countries. Sales agents handle export business in the United Kingdom, Finland, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium and the US.
