The all-rounder - that's how the German fleece specialist Leco characterises its Background fleeces and ensures: you save time and money, making many things easier and some things even possible at all. You quickly and easily create clean, smooth and even walls.
Due to their many versatile properties, they can be used as surface preparation for wallpapering or as coating substrate for creative designs on ceilings and walls. Background 2.0 is the further development of the Leco bestseller Background. According to the manufacturer, the smooth fleece is softer, even easier to work and has a higher opacity. They say this means it is even easier and faster to create smooth walls. As with every fleece from the house of Leco, it is pre-pigmented. Free from PVC, solvents, plasticisers, formaldehyde and heavy metals, it presents absolutely no health risk.
It turns every wall into something very special: that's what Leco says about its fine Perlvlies. Because the micro-glass beads on the pre-primed glass fleece create 3D effects which can be individually designed in different colours. The modern structures are emphasised through a shimmering 2-colour effect. After applying paint, the small glass beads ensure impactful colour variations.
This makes the fleece particularly suitable for decorative wall designs and can also be ideally combined with smooth fleece. It is popular in living spaces or in upmarket public interiors such as in hotels, office buildings or surgeries as its basis is purely mineral.

An additional special product for walls is the Lecover covering wallpaper. Smooth walls with no dust, dirt or noise - simple and straightforward, is how the manufacturer describes its application. With Lecover, light to average glass fabric structures and plasters can be covered and the wall completely smoothed out in one stage.
The process is carried out without laborious filling and sanding and generates neither dust nor noise, which particularly simplifies work in public interiors and leads to time savings of up to 75 per cent when plaster or glass fabric wallpapers are to be transformed into a smooth wall.
