The Ambiente, Cristmasworld and Creativeworld consumer goods fairs start today in Frankfurt. Until 11 February 2025 (Creativeworld until 10 February), visitors can find out what the living and working spaces of the future will look like, how to decorate for Christmas and other festive occasions and which creative DIY trends will soon be popular worldwide. The exhibition halls will showcase products that make life more beautiful and everyday life easier - whether at home, in hotels, restaurants, workspaces or public spaces. The focus is on design, sustainability, digitalisation and new work.
The organisers are expecting more than 170 participating nations. The trade fair organiser has not announced the number of registrations - however, Messe Frankfurt reported last July that they had already exceeded the previous year's level at the start of registrations in summer 2024. Julia Uherek, Vice President Consumer Goods Fairs, is optimistic that the exhibition centre will once again be fully booked.
At Ambiente, furniture, lighting and textile manufacturers will present themselves in the new Interior Looks brand area, the Future of Work area (both in Hall 3.1) will focus on modern working environments, and with the special presentation The Lounge, Ambiente designer Fabian Freytag will create a parallel world in Galleria 1 to inspire visitors from the hospitality industry.
At Christmasworld, large-scale lighting concepts for shopping centres and city centres for festive and seasonal decoration can be found - especially in Hall 4.0 - as well as the special presentation Decoration Unlimited (Foyer 5.1/6.1), which provides ideas for effective decoration at the POS.
New creative techniques and materials will dominate Creativeworld in the Trend Area (1.2, A51), and in the Creative Academy (1.1, D81) visitors can experience the industry's trends, techniques and materials up close and try them out for themselves.
