The Classen group is the only producer and supplier of floorings whose entire product range is now certified with the "Blue Angel", the label of the "Eco-Institute of Cologne". This means that Classen is not only among the largest producers of laminate flooring in the world, but is currently the only manufacturer with certified low-emission products throughout from a sustainable low-emission production. All floorings from the Classen group have been proven to achieve the highest rating in terms of ecology and application, ensures the manufacturer and emphasises: with Classen floorings, the consumer can be assured that they are purchasing healthy-living and entirely emission-free products - fundamentally ecological and fundamentally made in Germany.
This applies in particular to the design and vinyl floorings range. Completely free of PVC, plasticisers and other harmful substances, they represent a new generation of flooring. First and foremost, the provider highlights the vinyl floorings Classen Greenvinyl as well as Eco.Vinyl. They are the first vinyl floorings to receive the "Blue Angel", which is not usually awarded to PVC-based floorings.
This new generation of vinyl flooring, however, really does manage entirely without any PVC and the plasticisers it requires. Therefore, these floorings were tested by the "Eco-Institute of Cologne", they are certified as being low-emission and, with the "Blue Angel", carry the most well-known German environmental label for emissions-tested product quality.
In 3.8 and 4.0 mm strengths, the vinyl flooring is laid using the EasyLoc system. The 1 294 mm long boards are available in widths of 173 mm and 203 mm, and also as vinyl tiles in the format 638 x 310 mm. Under stress class 31, Classen provides a guarantee of ten years and twelve years under stress class 32.
