B&Q intends to open 17 stores in its base country over the next 12 months

B&Q is planning the opening of 17 stores in the UK over the next 12 months, an investment that will cost £ 200 mio (€ 312 mio). Over this same period the company claims it will create 4 000 new jobs. The following locations have already been earmarked:
B&Q Warehouses
Sheffield: January 2003
Coatbridge: January 2003
Middlesborough: February 2003
Bournemouth: March 2003
Tunbridge Wells: March 2003
Barnsley: April 2003
Farnborough: Mai 2003
Doncaster. Mai 2003
B&Q Supercentres
Leyton, London: Mai 2003
Isle of Wight: June 2003
Guernesey: July 2003
