Castorama in Paris

Castorama is to open a 4 200 m2 store in Paris that will concentrate on decorating ranges. Although confirming French press reports that Castorama had been given the go-ahead for the proposed new store, which will not open until 2005, a spokesman denied that any name had yet been assigned to the outlet, close to the La Madelaine area. Nor is Castorama referring to the store as a new concept, as its positioning is geared specifically to the clientele and the situation in Paris.
