Founding of manufacturers’ association in Spain

The Spanish DIY manufacturers’ association, which has been in the offing for quite some time, has now actually been established. It goes by the name of Asociación de Fabricantes Españoles de Bricolaje (AFEB) and is also open to companies in the gardening sector. The founding members elected Jesús Gonzáles (Coati) as their president. The vice-presidents are Eugenia Cerdán (Closet Norte), Natividad Mateos (Fijaciones Norma), Manuel E. Castro (Gardena) and Vicente Jáuregui (Abus). The AFEB has joined the European association FEDIYMA.
